Learning to ski or snowboard with a qualified instructor improves your confidence, technique, and safety on the mountain. In Chamonix, you’ll find top-quality ski schools like the Ecole de Ski Français (ESF) and private organisations such as Evolution 2, both offering lessons in English and French. Children can start ski lessons as young as 3 years old, making it a family-friendly choice.

She is highly experienced and passionate about helping skiers build confidence and improve their skills. This season Camille is offering lessons to advanced skiers in Class 3 and Class 4. Her private lessons are designed around your goals whether that means developing advanced technique exploring new terrain or perfecting your style.

For adults, children, or small groups of friends, private ski lessons are the fastest way to progress. A private ski or snowboard instructor tailors the session to your level — whether that’s building solid foundations, exploring off-piste terrain, or boosting confidence on steeper slopes.
We work closely with ESF, known for excellent service and flexibility. If you book a half-day or full-day ski lesson, your instructor can even pick you up directly from your chalet for maximum convenience.
If you prefer a more social atmosphere, group ski lessons are a fun and cost-effective way to learn. These lessons usually run over five or six consecutive mornings, with some afternoon options available. Group ski classes are available for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers, and are also a great option for mixed-ability friends.
The ESF offers dedicated ski areas at Les Planards and Le Savoy for children aged 3–12. With professional instructors and a safe environment, kids can enjoy group ski lessons, competition training, or full-day programmes including ski tuition, games, and lunch.
Evolution 2 runs a family-friendly ski school in Argentière, close to the Grands Montets lift. Kids aged 3+ can join half-day or full-day ski classes, with younger children enjoying a dedicated ski kindergarten complete with its own slope, ski lift, and indoor play area.
Group sizes are kept small (maximum 8), ensuring personalised attention. At the end of each week, children take fun ski tests to mark their progress.
